The AS Engine

The AS Engine is our own instrument engine, built over the last year to replace the UVI player for our instruments. Every instrument we port to it gets faster loading, a smaller install, lower CPU and memory use, and usually new features.

Instruments on the AS Engine run on Mac (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows, as a standalone application or as a VST3, AU or AAX plugin. They are activated with a serial number from your account: no iLok and no dongle.

The UVI player versions stay available while we move every instrument over, and owners keep their UVI licenses in their iLok account.
